Stavroula holds a Chemical Engineering MSc and MBA and has over 25 years professional experience in project management, business development, marketing communications. She has participated/managed 20+ EU funded projects in the Sustainable Energy, Mobility and Tourism fields (H2020, IEE2, MED Interreg), including the coordination of the EU-IEE PVTRIN and NEZEH projects; currently site manager on CIVITAS Destinations.
Author/co-author in 15+ technical guide and 40+ papers in scientific/technical conferences, articles in scientific/technical journals. Lead role in organisation of EU policy events (EU Parliament), Conferences, Capacity Building Events, Public events, Workshops, Webinars, Awareness activities.
She is a Certified Evaluator of proposals within the framework of the Investment Law (2011-), the NSRF 2007-2013 and NSRF 2014-2020 (Structural Funds), a full member of the Hellenic Management Association, the Hellenic Institute of Marketing, the Technical Chamber of Greece and the Greek Association of Chemical Engineers (1988-).
MONITORING AND ASSESSMENT OF THE URBAN ENVIRONMENT IN A TOURISTIC MEDITERRANEAN CITYThis paper presents an integrated, two-level monitoring system for urban planners, combining environmental stations and thermal cameras and allowing real-time monitoring and analysis of traffic load, mobility and environmental data, and hence supports decision making, assessment and improvement of the SUMP action
plan in Rethymno.
The system was developed, by the Technical University of Crete in cooperation with the Municipality of Rethymno, during the CIVITAS DESTINATIONS.
