Renata Lúcia Magalhães de Oliveira is an Associate Professor at the Federal Center for Technological Education of Minas Gerais. Besides educational activities, she is responsible for research projects concerning accessibility-based urban planning, which gathers land use and mobility issues to subsidize policymaking in Brazilian cities, both for people and freight. The motivation of this research framework is to diminish inequalities regarding the access to urban functions and, therefore, to promote social justice. She is a researcher supported by the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq).
