Matteo Colleoni

Matteo Colleoni is full professor of Urban Sociology at the University of Milano-Bicocca. He is Rector’s delegate for sustainability, Coordinator of BASE (Bicocca Ambiente Società Economia – Bicocca Environment Society Economy) and Mobility Manager. He is also National Coordinator of the Working Group on Mobility within RUS (Rete delle Università per lo Sviluppo Sostenibile – Italian Network of Universities for Sustainable Development) and Member of the Scientific Committee of Polis-Lombardia for COVID-19 emergency.

He is referee of many scientific journals and has participated as a speaker in several national meetings and international congresses.

Abstract

RETHINKING MOBILITY WITHIN UNIVERSITY: THE BASE APPROACH TO SUSTAINABLE BEHAVIOURS

BASE (Bicocca Environment Society Economy) is dedicated to foster environmental sustainability within the University of Milano Bicocca. BASE takes a holistic approach to sustainability in different areas, among which stands mobility management. Such an approach is aimed at providing, restricting, persuading and finally innovating the behaviours of university population.
