Heli Suuronen

Manager of the HYMY network project, The Joint Authority of Tampere City Region

HYMY Steering Group Heli Suuronen have Master’s Degree in Administrative sciences and Master’s degree in Health Care. She have studied Politics of the Environment and Regions in the University of Tampere and have several years experience in practicing healthcare and health promotion in public health care. She is spezialized in healthy, sustainable city planning and health promotion. She have made several work reports relating ongoing project including StrateGIS-usability in evaluation and reporting sustainable development goals (SDG’s).

PROMOTING URBAN HEALTH AND WELL-BEING WITH GIS AND CROSS-BOUNDARY CITY PLANNING

The project “Modelling of well-being and improvement of well-being management -network project HYMY” focuses on to spatially identify the most relevant built environment elements of well-being and how these are spatially distributed and accessible to residents, in the context of Finnish cities.
