Hana Brůhová Foltýnová

Hana Brůhová Foltýnová is a head of the Competence team “Transport and Mobility” at the Faculty of Social and Economic Studies of Jan Evangelista Purkyne University in Usti nad Labem. She is concerned in sustainable urban mobility, above all in economic and environmental impacts of transport regulation, sustainable transport policies and measures and their monitoring and evaluation, and active transport support. 

She has coordinated or has been a member of a range of international and national research and policy-oriented projects. Hana is an author of a monograph ´Transportation and the Society´ (published in 2009 at Karolinum), and of a range of scientific publications and promotion of research results. She is a co-author of the Czech national SUMP guidelines, during 2017 – 2018 she was a coordinator of SUMP preparation in Litoměřice.

Abstract

PLANNING OF SUSTAINABLE URBAN MOBILITY TOOL FOR MUNICIPALITIES ON HOW TO SUPPORT CHANGES OF NEW MOBILITY PLANNING AND TRAVEL BEHAVIOUR

Czech cities focus their transport planning on sustaining mobility of their citizens and visitors. They will have a new mobility planning tool at disposal, providing them with information for decision-making, offering mobility management solutions. The tool is designed in cooperation with Czech cities and replies to their planning needs.
